D Leena

Leena, a graduate in Law, has worked with the Hazards Centre since its inception and has intensive experience in community mobilization, networking, policy analysis and research. She is presently acting as a coordinator, and specifically looking at issues of Law and Governance and Urban Labor.

Lalit Batra

A post-graduate in Sociology, Lalit has worked with the Hazards Centre for more than seven years. His experience includes that of community mobilization, research, analysis and documentation on wide-ranging issues of urban policy and practice. Presently he is a coordinator, laying specific focus on shelter, urban labor and the Masterplan.

Banajyotsna Baruah

A Masters in Environment Science, Bana is involved with issues of drinking water quality, occupational health of industrial workers, environment impact assessment of developmental projects and related environmental topics.

Basab Paul

Bachelors in Social Work, Basab is presently researching on issues of urban labor and transport.

Mrinalini Gosawami

Masters in Environmental Science, Mrinalini is focusing on issues of industrial hazardous waste, occupational health, environmental impact assessment of development projects, water and sanitation concerns of urban poor and related environmental issues.

Pritpal Singh Randhawa

A Ph.D candidate in Centre for studies in Science Policy in JNU, Pritpal has been associated with the Hazards Centre since seven years and has extensive experience in research, networking and capacity building on issues of urban practice with specific emphasis on Transport Policy and Planning.

Rajiv Kumar

A graduate in Political Science, Rajiv has more than seven years experience in community mobilization and networking. In Hazards Centre, he is focusing on issues of Right to Information, Electricity and Alliance building.

Sadre Alam

Ph.D candidate in Central Asian cultural studies in JNU, Sadre has five years experience in Community mobilisation, Networking, Theatre and Exhibitions. In Hazards centre, he is looking at issues of alliance building, with specific focus on Campaign for Preservation of democracy.

Shashikant Kumar

Masters in History from JNU, Shashikant has three years experience in community mobilization, advocacy, activism in trade unions and cultural initiatives. At present he is engaged on an in-depth study on urban labor issues in different Indian cities.

Sunetra Lala

Sunetra has studied environmental management and environmental law. At present she is looking at issues of biodiversity conservation, waste management as also in-depth and comparative analysis of Masterplans of key metropolitans in India/

Supriya Chotani

A Master in Social Work, with three years working experience, Supriya is presently looking at issues of media sensitisation and student outreach, as also promotion of cultural expressions among marginalized groups.
